Who We Are?

Southern Maryland Tri-County Community Action Committee, Inc. (SMTCCAC) was incorporated as a 501(c)3 in August 1965. This occurred after three Calvert County residents acted out of concern over the level of poverty in their county.

Our Mission

To provide services for eligible citizens that alleviate the causes and conditions of poverty, promote upward mobility and enrich the quality of life.

To create opportunities for all citizens to realize their potential to become self-sufficient.
