Effective December 6, 2022, SMTCCAC will suspend applications for the Charles County COVD-19 Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP). Should more funding become available, we will notify eligible customers and re-instate the application process. We apologize for any inconvenience that this has caused our families in need. During the fiscal year 2018, the Housing
Counseling Services Program secured funding
for financial counseling with a focus on
preserving home ownership and promoting
financial education. Through partnerships with
Southern Maryland CASH, Maryland Housing
Counseling and Community Development
Networks, SMTCCAC, Inc., was able to provide
counseling to the Tri County area and expand to
an additional two counties.
SMTCCAC, Inc. is a HUD Approved Housing Counseling Agency. Our housing counselors offer a comprehensive range of services to the public. We are part of the Maryland HOPE Housing Counseling Network.
